So there are a few things going the rounds.
First, I have an ad for the Saint Tommy, NYPD series. It’s not much, but I like it.
And yikes do I hate that photo of me…
Anyway, moving on.
Right now, the entire Saint Tommy NYPD collection is on sale for $0.99.
Yes, you get 12 books for less than $12…
No, do not ask me what the prices are on the short stories, I don’t know off the top of my head.

Declan Finn has gone where authors and angels fear to tread. Hell Spawn is a contemporary urban magic novels with a fascinating twist. Where the Harry Dresden series tends to focus on magic and monsters hidden in modern day shadows; Finn has opted to intertwine demons and the magic of the Catholic church…and has done so with panache.
Finn’s prose is crisp. He has dialogue that feels like real conversations, which is necessary to suck you into the story. The lead character is not some paladin, but is an everyman who is strangely easy to identify with. Finn’s handling of the Catholic faith is perfect. While I’m not a religious person, I found it easy to understand and an interesting aspect of the story.
The lead character of this story is a police detective who is also a saint. He’s fighting demonic possession, serial killing, and the corruption of evil in New York, a city that practically oozes evil. Before you flinch at the religious aspects of this book, let me say they are not preachy as much as wildly entertaining.
Finn has crafted a story that is bold, daring, and fun to read. I have to respect an author that thinks big and swings for the fences. Without ruining the plot, let me drop this one line: Demonic possession on the infamous Riker’s Island! There, if that doesn’t inspire you to read this novel, nothing will.
This is the first in a series of books, so I encourage you to jump in with both feet and wade through the Holy Water.
