Miami Bite.
A short story.
The nice thing about Raconteur Press is that they make me write short stories — which I generally don’t do unless I have a gun to my head.
Take, for example, last year’s Vice Noir.
The Vice Noir protagonist, on the other hand, has looked into the abyss … and the abyss winked. He lives in the bright sunshine, among pretty people — because the night, the alleys, and the adrenaline are way too attractive, too addictive, too comfortable … and he knows it.
I figured, oh, why not? I have a few characters that match that description.
So I took Marco Cattalano and sent him into a Miami nightclub to do some hunting.
For the record, I was rejected.
However, there is always Cirsova Magazine.
Yup, there’s Caroline Furlong, one of my reviewers on Upstream.
And down on the right hand side, that would be me.
If you read the Love at First Bite series, and want more of Marco and Amanda, go buy this, the penultimate issue of Cirsova. You will enjoy it.
And if you haven’t read my Dragon Award nominated series Love at First Bite, what are you waiting for?
Again, feel free to ask me anything in the comments. If you get an email, you can ping me through the comment button at the top.
And remember: buy a book, leave a book review. Either would be greatly appreciated.
