Do you remember the Planetary Anthology series?
You may not. It started under Superversive, they it went to Tuscany Bay Press, then it became too much of a pain to track all of the royalties over so many people.
Anyway, it’s back, under a new policy from Tuscany Bay Books.
The new policy?
And, of course, there are paperback and audio editions as well.
As for me, well, I’m in certain anthologies.
Item one:
Mercury
If you have already read White Ops, you do not want to get this one just for me. My story here is basically the opening of the first White Ops Novel.
Now, if you’re interested in White Ops, but don’t want to try it yet, I think you can risk a dollar to read part of the series.
Next
Venus
This is for later in the White Ops series. Much later. There’s some spoilers for White Ops 5.
This one is Love Boat to Venus. Sean Patrick Ryan goes on a romantic vacation. Hilarity ensues. Because of course it does.
Mars
This one was fun.
Paul Murphy has had a rough life. When his friend is in trouble, he’s happy to help. But when the plan goes to Hell, his enemies will find out just how rough he can be.
Pluto
This was a completely, 100% original story, in part inspired by an Ellery Queen plot. My father suggested the basics for the plot.
This led to “Archer,” a thief of the far future. He’s been hired to steal on behalf of one of the most reclusive and richest men in this galaxy. It’s his biggest score, perhaps the score.
Archer just needs to make the deal, then get out alive.
Finally
Luna
This was my anthology. I cultivated the stories, I edited them. I even contributed a story of Galadren, Middle Earth’s Most Wanted Elven Assassin.
I had some fun.
I’m not going to say go out and buy them all, but I will recommend blowing a few bucks. And if you like them, review them, then try the rest of the series.
And even if you just like my stories, say that in the review. Heh.
Anyway, this has been a busy week for anthologies.
