Another thing I posted in 2021, hiding it behind a paywall for certain … intemperate thoughts. I have moderately updated it here.
During the “Occupy Wall Street” movement, I noted more than a few trashed churches, and deliberately destroyed statues of the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM).
I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the violence of the Left hasn’t gotten any better. In 2025, it’s mutated into a particularly murderous “Free Palestine” movement, that has, so far, tried to kill over a dozen people. Thank merciful God, these people are total idiots and are even incompetent at murder.
For those of you who are not aware, what the media dubbed 2020’s “summer of love” consisted of hundreds of riots, over $2billion in damages to businesses, homes and cities, dozens assaulted and raped, and piles of dead—dozens instead of hundreds, but good luck getting solid numbers on the victims, because the media was too happy to call them “mostly peaceful.”
Along the way, the summer of love also burned down a few churches. Because of course they did.
Like the good little fascists they are, they of “the summer of love” also burned books (Uncle Hugo’s bookstore in Minnesota just to name one).
And after a 2020 Presidential election that magically had more votes than registered voters, and would be considered corrupt and rigged by any standard (warning, the link has vulgarity and screaming), I don’t see it getting any better.
After the Derek Chauvin trial, I think Kyle Rittenhouse’s would have been a show trial, if the prosecution hadn’t been so purely incompetent.
Again, thank God they’re stupid.
Since 2020, over 500 Catholic churches have been vandalized, attacked, and burned down. My friend, fellow author Denton Salle, told me that there have been over 34 Orthodox Churches burned straight down. I’ve got maybe other 400 attacks on miscellaneous other churches. I can’t wait to see what other numbers have been hidden. I did a search just now (11:03am, 6/4/2025) and the best search engine on hand sees “gaps in the data.” Gee, you think?
On top of all this, we’ve just had four years of an administration dead set on brainwashing our children and anyone who disagrees with them. Frankly, the next time the Left get any measure of power, unless this trend reverses, I see this going … badly.
How do I define “badly?” Well, the left seems to think that the rule of law should go the way of the dodo. How many laws did they basically make up so they could get political opponents? I count at least one journalist thrown in jail for not attending a congressional show trial. And two assassination attempts on a presidential nominee, ON TOP OF all the lawfare.
Then shall we discuss “bail reform”? Which is just a nice way of saying “we’re going to release violent felons back onto the streets.” How about the number of illegal migrants who commit additional crimes, and are given a court date of half past never? This is a problem on multiple levels of government right now.
When the rule of law goes the way of the dodo, it’s replaced with citizens enforcing law. And those penalties range from beatings to an immediate death sentence.
Since, 2020, clearly, some things have gotten better. But not all of the damage can be fixed at the federal level.
Of the four boxes in American politics:
We’ve been given back the soap box in public forums, so thanks Elon.
Given all of the investigations and voter ID laws being passed, we might get back the ballot box in every state, which should be interesting.
For the jury box … on the one hand, I don’t see the FBI getting much better short of a purge. But on the other hand, some juries are clearly smarter than others. See Rittenhouse.
Then there’s box number four.
Many of my friends and associates have been asking one big question: When does the “fun” kick off? The “fun” in this case being ironic.
Because for some people, the waiting just gets on their nerves.
On the point of “when,” a few things.
1) Keep in mind that those on the right, usually known as “the punching bags,” don’t treat violence like those on the left do. As author Larry Correia puts it, when it comes to violence, the Left has a dial, the right has an on/off switch. So when violence actually does start “on both sides,” there will be blood.
Which is why…
2) It takes a lot to throw that switch. Keep in mind, in the original Civil War, the South decided to secede from the Union in early February, and the shooting didn’t start until mid-April. Even though Kansas had already turned into a shooting war over slavery, everyone was reluctant to pull the trigger on a full-out multi-state war. So any spark that sets off a new war will be interesting.
3) The spark could be practically anything. We nearly had a shooting war over the Bundy ranch, when the federal government went so out of control, the local government called out the National Guards to defend against the Feds. Say that every lefty governor wants to enforce gun grabbing and just starts kicking down doors? And of course, what if the 2020 election was proven to have been stolen (with hard physical evidence as opposed to impossible math and sketchy ballots at 3am)? As I said, the spark could be anything.
Say the left shoots Trump. Again. And tries to enforce their recently declared “shadow cabinet”? [So stupid]
BLM / Antifa / Free Palestine tries “Summer of Love 2.0.”
If it starts
Now, what happens if shooting actually does happen? It could. The way politics is going, it could happen any day, depending on how stupid people want to be.
What do I think will happen?
~ The body count won’t be that bad. I’m figuring that maybe half a million Americans will die. Maybe a million.
Given that we’re in a country of over three hundred million, why so low?
First you have to add how many people will actually try to fight it. Let’s face it, the body count will involve politicians, Anti-fa, the violent BLM thugs (not the protestors, of which I hear there are some).
After the shooting calms down a might, we’d probably have to kill a good chunk of the teachers and college professors… Why? Because their indoctrination is why we have a lot of this BS in the first place. If you think I’m kidding, read
’s books.(Though I guess depending on how you count them, no actual Americans are on their side. This doesn’t even take into account how many on the Left will cut and run at the first sign of real resistance. But on the Left, everyone who fights this war will just have to die. I’ll discuss that more below.)
But hey, the Left could go the route of Eric Swalwell and decide to nuke anyone who disagrees with them. Then it turns into sniping. Lots of sniping. As in “We know where you live and where your family lives.”
Do not ask me about what actual military casualties look like. While I have no doubt a good chunk of officers will roll over and follow orders, I don’t see how many in the military will look forward to shooting their fellow countrymen. While this entire document is theoretical, that conversation would be nothing but conditional phrases.
All that said, I know that any Civil War isn’t going to be pretty. I know it. You know it. No Civil War is civil. Only this time, it will be worse. In the 1860s, the issue was both slavery as well as thoughts about how we can govern ourselves. How much power can the federal government have over states? How much power do the states have? This time, the Left has decided that not only can they have their slaves back, they have decided that when they’re in power, everyone is a slave. If you don’t agree with them, they have the right to jail you, take your children, and brainwash you in reeducation camps. And if you disagree, you’ll be thrown into solitary confinement for four years while awaiting a trial.
The above, if for no other reason, is why another Civil War would be BLOODY. Because there would be no reconstruction. There would be no making nice afterward. All of these people will die, plain and simple. And they will have to die. Why? There is no negotiating with people who want to kill us. There’s only one response. In the 1860s American Civil War, the South did not want to annihilate the north, or vice versa. The Left want to kill the Right. The enemy makes the rules.
TLDR: They intend to treat us like cattle, so fair’s fair.
True, unlike them, the right might adopt any progeny the left have; we won’t commit full genocide on them. But aside from that, it’s going to be messy. Neighbors will kill neighbors. Scores will be settled. Did Karen next door report little Johnny for not wearing a mask? Watch Karen’s house burn down with her in it. Did Soyboy boast about how many businesses BLM burned down? No one will be surprised if his head ends up on his front gate.
So yeah, I expect any US Civil War 2.0 to make Yugoslavia in the 90s look like a house party. No prisoners. No mercy. They don’t deserve it, and they won’t give it to us. Peaceful coexistence afterward will not even be an option.
What can we do?
Good question. One I’ve given a lot of thought to.
I figure, for the most part, anyone in a red state will be fine.
Again, that’s “for the most part.”
Any purple state will see fighting. I’m not familiar with the on the ground situation in all 50 states. Even in the Texas city of Austin, which locals think of as a little piece of San Francisco in the middle of Texas, I saw a report about one night of rioting, followed shortly thereafter by a harsh crackdown. This already makes Austin to the right of New York City, which had so many riots, the news just stopped reporting them.
Let’s say that Frisco Texas decides to burn down. That should be interesting, considering there’s a gun club nearby.
The short version is this: The jackbooted forward march of the Left won’t stop until we make it stop. The Left sees us as subhuman. We’re the untermench. We’re beneath them. And they’ll kick us when we’re up, down or sideways. They don’t respond to reason, because their idea of reasoning is a Kafka trap where they’re always right. They only understand negative consequences. They don’t understand reason, they understand pain.
There is some positive momentum.
Citizens have gotten on school boards to fight back against the stupid.
Local voter laws have been passed to tighten up security against the cemetery vote.
Trump has some federal reforms on hand, but how much will be permanent? Maybe after eight years of President JD Vance?
Remember, at the end of the day, all politics is local. And the more we keep it local, the more we can fight against some of this crap before shooting starts. So get active in your local politics; if you’re not interested in politics, it doesn’t matter, because politics is interested in you.
But when the shooting starts … I presume everyone here has a gun? Or a working knowledge of the basic chemistry of household objects? If not … well, you can do all sorts of amazing things with bleach that I like to call “riot control.”
Another thing to consider: if you think 2020 had “disrupted supply lines” you have another thing coming. If the shooting does start, assume the post office will all but shut down. Interstate post will be screwed if it goes past red-blue borders. If you got through 2020 because of deliver-to-home consumables, in a red-blue conflict, that would be a problem.
I wish I had more to tell you. I wish I had better news. The only way out of this is if Democrats decide to reverse course on being dictatorial assholes. Or, we pass enough voting laws to rid ourselves of election fraud entirely. Maybe if Democrats dig themselves into a hole so deep that they can’t get out … but like vampire films, they always come back.
"If you got through 2020 because of deliver-to-home consumables, in a red-blue conflict, that would be a problem."
Forget deliver-to-home consumables. Start thinking in terms of life with no electricity. There's not much easier to take down than our power grid, and there's a couple of components, mostly high voltage transformers, that we don't make in this country anymore.
Also, what makes you think there will only be a civil war? Newscum out in CA is having closed-door meetings with Chinese government officials. If the balloon goes up, I expect him to hand over the CA ports in a heartbeat.
here's another possible spark. So far the left has gone after primarily three churches.
1) the synagogues. Historically, American Jews are more "it'll never happen here" than "Never AGAIN"
2) The Catholic Church. The Catholics, for the most part, got burned out on violence, between the 30 years war, and the British Catholic v Protestant, and Catholic v catholic lite {All the guilt, 99% less pope} (Church of England) wars. and
3) The Orthodox, who seem to spend all of their religious violence on each other and the Muslims.
So let's consider what happens if the next church they decide to mess with is the Church of Latter-day Saints. The Mormons have a history of using violence to protect their own, it's a lot more recent than any other Christian faith's violence, and they aren't repentant about it at all.
Instead of "Try that in a small town" lets see "try that against a Temple of the LDS" Of course the Southern Baptists can also get spicy, and their willingness to use violence, while not as full blown as the LDS, is still right there... And then there's the Asatru. Violence IS part of our religion.
