White Ops #4, Gathering Storm

Yet another new release

I have yet another new release.

Hopefully, you remember my book series White Ops. The first three books released a year ago.

If you don’t recall what I mean, hopefully, these are a good refresher course.

Hopefully, that should remind you of the premise.

I usually refer to it as if Baen Books did DS9 or Babylon 5.

The first book was about dealing with cannible hordes from the next galaxy over.

The second book was fighting them AND Earth’s President, under their influence.

The Third Book was “Terrorists take over an Amusement Planet that is absolutely not Disney.” Because I wanted to do that plot since BEFORE Tom Clancy did it in Rainbow Six.

And now book four.

I know most people write in trilogies. Even I did it with Saint Tommy NYPD. Though in this case, I played a longer game.

If you read Main Street DOA, you’ll note that I wrapped up some substantial plot threads. And there was a subplot that I had not spelled out, as well as a major plot element I didn’t explore. I spool out some more of that subplot in #4, and I spell out what the next major threat is going to be.

Oh, and at the same time, I cover two major conspiracies and several assassination attempts.

And, funny enough, I turned in the edits on Book #5 today.

Yes, I’ve been busy. I just have to figure out what I’m doing with book #6. Let’s say that I was flipping the coin about what I was going to do with #6… and I forgot that I already had written up several thousands words. Now I have to go back and dissect what I have of book #6 to remember exactly what I was going to do about it.

So… I’m keeping busy.
