I read this, not that I am sober after processing a day that is hard for me. You nailed it, this is how it should be treated... but we forgot to be American along the way. We looked into the abyss... and the abyss looked back and found us wanting. The so called unity lasted only a year on the generous side and we now debate whether or not we have the right to exist as a country. I worry that our days are numbered... that America is doomed. As for me and mine, I choose liberty and freedom. I am under no delusion, it will be hard fought and hard won, but anything less is cheating my progeny. We're at that moment in national trajectory where our road forks... and we better pick the right path because the other one is a dead end.
It's why I look forward to it. I'm even eager for it.
Why? Because if it were done, best it be done quickly.
And when it does start, we should all remember, now and forever: they set the rules.
Because for 20 years, I've heard of all the reasons why I should be sent into a reeducation camp, or straight-up shot. That's how they want it to go.
What comes next ... that's the concerning part. I'm fine with no reconstruction this time. They had their shot. They blew it. They get what they demanded be done to others. But what comes next?
Look to The Troubles. Look to the Balkans. What comes next is ugly, brutal and non combatants from all sides die. I would prefer a better path forward.
And yes, I concur. I suspect it will make the Balkans look like Kindergarten. But I'd rather the Balkans than jump on the same train Australia is on.
But I don't think we're going to have an option. I dislike the jumpsuits in concentration camps. Though it would be good for my weight loss, I won't go quietly. I have airtight glass jars, and I know what to do with home chemicals.
I remember. You're right. Kill them all. Turn them into glass. I'm a Navy veteran. The creation of Homeland Security changed this country forever, taking away our rights. The civil war is coming. I don't look forward to it but the tree of liberty and all...
You said "the 10% that hate us". Unfortunately, it's more like 90%. Consider that an opinion survey held in the Gaza strip and the "west bank" found that over 80% of the people polled stated that they supported the Hamas attack on Israel, and a similar number support "Palestine from the river to the sea".
And in a poll done in a supposed Western democracy -- Holland -- just weeks after 9/11/2001 substantially more than 10% of the muslims polled said they supported the terror attack. Mind you, that was the result in a supposedly civilized Western country, not in the majority-Islam third world.
I remember. I remember very well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RdAzXbGE2Xk
That day changed the trajectory of my life.

What happens next isn't going to be fun.
But it will be necessary.
It's why I look forward to it. I'm even eager for it.

As would I.

Agreed, Australian traded in First World status for the train to its very own Reich of tyranny.
And Biden will help us all get fit... starvation has that effect on people!
We'll see if the Balkans happen first.
I remember. You're right. Kill them all. Turn them into glass. I'm a Navy veteran. The creation of Homeland Security changed this country forever, taking away our rights. The civil war is coming. I don't look forward to it but the tree of liberty and all...
I think Ann Coulter was exactly right.
