Great article. One of the advantages of knowing you IRL is I could hear all of that in your voice. I especially liked " Please remember, big companies have lawyers."
"Long story short, my parody got out, and led the high school to throw me out for “acts of terrorism.” Please keep in mind, this was March of 2000, before 9-11 redefined terrorism for most people. If you don’t know what 9-11 is, ask your history teachers."
Four of the thirteen killed in the Afghanistan pullout were only 20 years old, so they had been born in 2001. Most of the rest were barely older than that, with one thirty year old that I could find.
So yeah. I'm not surprised. teens these days don't know about it. God only knows how many are telling them that it never happened.

You heard it in my voice? My condolences.
(I've heard my voice recorded. I'd rather listen to nails on a blackboard)
It's not that bad. I wouldn't do your own audio, but not unpleasant.
Excellent but OMG that you had to write this!

:oO *Shocked!
Yeah. It's mind-warping to realize that, even if I'm talking to seniors in high school, 9-11 happened six, maybe years before they were born.
I meant more that children one generation on in the US don’t know about 9/11 but yes, we’re all getting old! :o)

Outlining a book is like blazing the path through the forest where you intend to build a track that people can follow.
Sometimes it turns out that the ground is not sound enough for the path and you have to route around.
Sometimes you find something in the course of construction that has you change the path to take it in.
