American Civil War 2.0

Is it coming?

I wrote this back in January. Like all political topics, it’s probably already out of date. But I haven’t posted in nearly a week. So, in case anyone cares, my thoughts on it.

So, there was a lot of “another American Civil War is coming” going the rounds a few weeks ago.

So much so, Jim McCoy even did a post on it.

It’s quieter now. Does that mean it’s gone away?

On the one hand…

Heh. Hell no. Maybe delayed.

Frankly, I think the Civil War train was unavoidable as soon as Charlie Kirk was murdered. When the Left feels compelled to kill the guy who just wants to talk, we were on the train track to Hell.

When Democrat voters decided to elect Jay Jones (D-VA), Mister “I want to kill my opponent and his children, too” you knew the voters didn’t care. They supported it. They **knew** that their GOP opposition wasn’t human, and deserved to die.

It’s like moderate Islam. A Radical Muslim wants to kill you. A moderate Muslim has run out of ammo, and wants a Radical Muslim to kill you.¹

The Democrat voters may not kill Republicans themselves, but they’ll happily vote for a Tyler Robinson and a Luigi Mangione to do it for them.

Heck, around 2020, it was clear that the Left did not see “neutrals” or “moderates.” You were with the Left 100%, or you were the enemy. If you acknowledged only 3 genders instead of 48 (or whatever number they have now), you’re a Nazi. Refuse to have your daughter shower with men cosplaying as women? Fascist.

In short: the Left doesn’t want neutral. They want conformity, or they want you dead. Neutrality will not save you from them. Just because you have no interest in politics doesn’t mean that politics isn’t interested in you.

And that’s part of the problem.

The Left could purge their ranks of the crazies, but they won’t. Their groundlings have been programmed into thinking that you’re either 100% against Trump, or you’re a traitor to the country. You think Chuck Schumer is going to tell them to heel and behave? Heck no.

And the radicals are funded by at least one former ex-Nazi from Hungary. All the Leftists in power are millionaires or billionaires, so almost any of them can afford a guerilla campaign. Molotov cocktails are easy, and cheap.

Now, if we take away all of their money and crush their foot soldiers? Maybe.

Say we crush AntiFa….

Then the cartels…

Then the Jihadis…

Then the Somalis, assuming they’re not part of the Jihadis…

On the other hand…

HOWEVER … think about **a Civil War.**

You need to have a certain number of people to show up before it’s “a war.”

How many of the other side are there? Ten thousand AntiFa? That’s an air raid and it’s done in an afternoon.

Add a million TDA and another million Jihadis? That’s another conversation.

Do we think the other side of the Civil War is everyone who voted for Kamala Harris?

Will all seventy-five million people who voted for her (assuming ten million aren’t fictional) going to try to kill the rest of us?

That’s a question. And I don’t know.

Also, look at the county map from 2024.

The Left have enclaves in only certain locations. They have power in those strongholds, but nowhere else.

And think about it. Will NYC go to war? No—most of the 8 million people are politically apathetic, and don’t bother to vote, they’re people who just want to be left alone.²

Did MILLIONS riot in Minneapolis? No.

Is it even ten thousand? And that’s a city of 400,000. That’s ... 2.5%?³

Let’s say those numbers hold nationwide. Can 2.5% of 75 million be a war? Yes, that is two million people.⁴

But The American Civil War of the 1860s had 10% of the entire population fighting on BOTH SIDES (three million out of a population of 31 million).⁵

Again, that assume 2.5%.

And how many people would have stood and fought in Minneapolis if the Guard showed up? Would there have still been ten thousand protestors?

And these are THE BIG NUMBERS. Some of these riots only had about a thousand people, not tens of thousands. Some were tourists who wanted to show up, wave the flag, and go home.

If the Left declares a Civil War, and no one shows up, does it even happen?

And we could get lucky. You can talk about The Anarchist Cookbook, but I think the bombs of the Weather Underground killed more of their own people than their targets. How fast can these people whittle down their own ranks?

Please remember, the early seventies had an 18 month period where we had about five bombings a day on average. Nearly 1,500 terrorist incidents, most of them with explosives. By the mid-to-late 1970s, the rate had dropped to “only around 50–60 bombings per year.”

I’m sure that depending on the social media presence, and the narrative spin, if that happened today, a bombing a week could be “a civil war.” But if we can ignore two hundred attacks on churches every year for five years, we can ignore an explosive a week.

I mean, theoretically, the next time Minnesota happens, in say, Chicago or New York City, Trump pulls the trigger on the insurrection act, pours the Guard into the states currently in rebellion (ie: every other sanctuary state), and we scare the psychopaths into hibernation for another generation or two. Like Kent state, all the radicals can hide in academia and radicalize the next generation. And we can do it all over again in time for the great grandkids.

We could also go full Kratman.⁶ That would settle the matter. Which is a little harsh.

Personally, I’m more for the Inquisition, myself. Not the fantasy one, the real one. Which, in modern day, would probably start with “how many genders are there?” and “Is MAP a sexual preference or a crime?”

It would sound like “Cake or Death,” but whatever.

So, will there be a civil war? Probably yes. Will it be anytime soon? We’ll see.
