It's actually time for me to do one of these. Nominations are due soon if I recall correctly.

That much having been said:

Transformers 1 needs to win the movie category. I've watched that movie repeatedly. The origin of Optimus Prime and Megatron done with intelligence is amazing and it's flat out fun. If Transformers 1 doesn't win the Dragon then there is no justice in the world.

Romanov Rescue has my vote as well. I can't wait for the sequel.

I have Mech Bunny. I need to read/review it. Right now it's just chilling on my Kindle looking lonely.

I'd definitely go with one of the three Honeymoon from Hell I've read so far for Best Horror. I'm on the fence as far as which one, but I can get with the Neck Romancer movement since I was already considering it anyway.

Digital gamewise, I'm going with World of Warcraft: The World Within. Then again, I'm a WoWhead, even if I don't really post on the site.

The rest I'll have to think about, but thanks for the reminder.

Transformers 1? Excellent. I'm glad I called that.

Romanov Rising. Romanov Rescue was last year.... do I need to make that even clearer?

Thank you on the HFH for horror. I'll take it.

You're welcome.

Right. Romanov Rising. Exactly. No idea why someone let me out of the house before I was caffeinated this morning, but that's my fault not yours.

Don't worry. I'll wake up eventually.

Speaking as a faithful Instagram user (follow us at https://www.instagram.com/peschel_press/), it's FAR, FAR more searchable than Facebook ever will be. I get hits on posts that are three years old, but that's because I hashtag carefully and completely which is critical to success on IG.

If you're already using Facebook, you can use Meta to crosspost to IG. That's what we do, using the desktop application.

The phone app is ... not easy for me. I rarely use it, because it's so challenging.

But the desktop!

And, by the way, there is NOTHING spontaneous about our IG account. I make all the posts in advance on Canva (the free version), Bill posts them via Meta, and I hashtag them. All in advance.

I post daily: quotes, book love for someone else, a weekly book advert for us, on Sundays one of our adventures, holidays, kitty & gardening pix, upcoming events (critical), perennial topics such as our newsletter advert, and other pix if they're interesting. It's very rare that I post more than twice a day. That's plenty!

I ALWAYS respond to a comment even if only with a heart.

I am entirely self-taught. If you want to read my essay about how to better use IG, things I learned the hard way, go to https://careerindieauthor.com/2024/04/24/instagram-tips-for-writers-and-authors/

Good hashtags are CRITICAL to being searchable. You get 30. Use those slots. No hashtags, no one can find you other than your followers.

I hope this helps!
